Lamentations 3:27It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth
This scripture speaks to us young people who still want to enjoy the fruits of the flesh, who are still pursuing the pride of life, the ungodlyness of life... You're only thinking of surrendering your life to God once you've advanced in years but this is not biblical. God has chosen the young because we are strong and we have overcome the wicked one. Read 1 John 2:13-14
Most of us young people have this mentality of wanting to enjoy life and give ourselves to God when we tired of the pleasures of the flesh. What if you die in your youth, I'm not even 26 years of age yet but I've seen a lot of young people die. A lot and I mean a lot of young people, just imagine if it was you and me. We would have to face God and give account of why we rejected to serve Him.
Mark 10:20And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
This man has been obedient to God from his youth. What is preventing us from doing likewise. Look at how Jesus looked at Him.
Mark 10:21Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
Jesus loved him, how interesting is that. Some people believe this young man was supposed to replace Judas, I don't know if it's true or not but we can do likewise. Serve Him in our youth and be willing to let go of everything to follow Him
DEUTERONOMY 6:5You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

A word of ENCOURAGEMENT
How does God deal with people who gave up and went back to a life of sin?
1 Chronicles 17:13I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you
Although Solomon left God in later times, God insisted that His mercy will not be cut off from Him. But why was Saul cut off? It was His PRIDE that caused him to be cut off.
Proverbs 16:5Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord...
Pride is causing many to be rejected before God.
The same mercy Solomon tasted, God is offering you who are still stuck in sin.
Matthew 15:4-6
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’
Jesus left all His folk just to come look for you, how interesting is that?
Asaiah 1:16:18Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

When answering the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” another attribute of God’s nature comes into play. God is not only love, but He is perfectly just as well. Justice requires adequate payment for crimes committed. The only just punishment for any high treason against God is eternal separation from Him.
For God To excuse our sin would require God to be less than just, and to allow sin-tainted humans into His perfect heavens would render that place less than perfect. That’s why only the perfect Son of God could go to the cross in our place. Only His perfect blood was an acceptable payment for the debt we each owe God (Colossians 2:14). When we refuse Jesus as our substitute, we must pay the price ourselves (Romans 6:23).
God gave us the freedom to choose how we respond to Him. If He forced us to love Him, we would be robots. To give us no option but obedience would be a violation of our free will.
Love is only love when it is voluntary. We cannot love God unless we have the option of not loving Him. Because God honors our autonomy, He will never force surrender or loyalty. However, there are consequences for either choice.

IF JESUS WAS GOD, HOW COULD HE PRAY TO GOD? WAS JESUS PRAYING TO HIMSELF?
New Addition
Jesus did not become the Son of God when He was born in Bethlehem. He has always been the Son of God from eternity past, still is the Son of God, and always will be.
Jesus was always part of the tri-unity along with the Holy Spirit. The trinity always existed, the Father God, the Son God, and the Spirit God, not three gods, but one God existing as three Persons.
John 10:33The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
John 5:18Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
This proves that Jesus and His Father are of the same substance and the same essence. The Father, Son and Spirit are three co-equal persons existing as God. The three had and will always have this unparalleled relationship from eternity to eternity...
His praying demonstrated that He ultimately submitted to His Father's will, which was to go to the cross and pay the penalty for sin, raising from the grave the third day and winning forgiveness and eternal life for those who repent of sin and believe in Him as their Savior.
Jesus redeemed us by His blood, How beautiful is that
His continual submission to His heavenly Father was empowered and kept focused through His prayer life.
Jesus praying is ours to follow, Him praying to the Father was a demonstration of His relationship within the Trinity and an example for us that we must rely on God through prayer for the strength and wisdom we need.
In short, prayer is vital for a Christian life

TERRIFYING TRUTH.
Featured Item
The most terrifying truth about the Bible is that GOD IS GOOD.
But why is that a terrifying thing, why would you say God being good is a terrifying thing.
It's terrifying to know that God is good because we are not therefore what does a good God have to do with sinful people like us?
Romans 3:23"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
If a just God pardons the wicked then He is no longer Just, if a Holy God calls us to have fellowship with Him then he's not a Holy God.
But how does a just God pardon our sins, how can a Holy God call wicked people to have fellowship with Him? The answer is found in Jesus Christ.
All the indignation of God against sin was poured upon Him, all the wrath of God that we deserve was placed upon Jesus. Sin was not supposed to go free, somebody had to pay the price so God provided a way of not punishing us instead. He loves us but He hates our sinful nature and He condemned this sinfulness upon Jesus Christ who had no sin.
But you have to stop sinning and walk in complete obedience to the father if you desire to have fellowship with Him. You will make many mistakes but He will be there for you to carry you and forgive you. That's the God we serve, a forgiving God, merciful and all loving to the point of taking the horrible punishment that was meant for you upon Himself.
